About Design

YOO Cumbaya was designed by Arquitectonica and YOO inspired by Starck; it is located in the Cumbayá valley and is surrounded by all the facilities that allow for an ideal lifestyle.

The mixed-use project hosts a tower of offices and 8 towers of 6-story residences, each with private access. YOO Cumbaya offers generous public space at the ground level, which hosts a cafe, restaurants, an ice cream shop, a gym, design stores, and gathering spaces.

Its spectacular design highlights furniture by Driade, Poltrona Frau, Baxter, ANDROMEDA, Nanimarquina, Bonzini, Vitra, Cassina, Emeco, Serralunga, Kartel, Floss, Expormim, and Pedrali. Local elements and references appear throughout as well, including a mosaic around the pool that is based on the traditional weavings of Andean belts.

YOO Cumbaya is also an eco-efficient building, with systems that foster efficient water consumption, efficient energy use, and environmental and landscape contributions. Landscaping features solely species native to the area in order to protect the integrity of the ecosystem.
