Founded in Quito in 1999, Christian Wiese Arquitectos is one of the leading architecture practices in Latin America. His work has shaped the urban skylines of Ecuador, including two major skyscraper projects in Guayaquil: Ciudad del Río and the Swissotel Towers.
Christian Wiese Arquitectos has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Gold Medal at the Miami Architecture Biennial in 2009 and the CTBUH (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat) in 2014.
Quito-based Architect Felipe Escudero’s design philosophy is centered on adding value to the human experience. He began his career in London where he received his master’s degree from the Architectural Association. He went on to work at Heatherwick Studio in London, Mad Architects in Beijing, and then Space4architecture in New York.
In 2012, he founded EFE (Estudio Felipe Escudero). Ongoing projects include a 16-story corporate office tower in Quito, an ecological hotel in Papallacta, an industrial warehouse in Pifo, and a series of residential projects that mix with the vegetation in the Cumbayá valley.
